Lurker King's New Throne

Finished remodeling my bathroom this weekend, further blurring the lines between my wannabe Lurker persona and the bourgeoisie fancy folk in my neighborhood.

Full disclosure: my contribution to this remodel was pretty much limited to picking out colors and styles of stuff, and nodding and trying to look smart when Brandon from Holdfast explained to me what he was doing. I'm pretty sure I didn't fool him.

Really, my only sacrifice was not showering for 3 or 4 days at a stretch this week, and that really counts more as a sacrifice for the people who had to stand near me during that stinky time.

Unlike my kickass floor remodel, when I actually sweated and did some work, this time I lurked on the internets and tried to stay out of the way while other people worked their asses off. I'm pretty pumped with how it all came out, and now I know that if our economy ever recovers, I can sell my place without having to try and hide the funky shower from view.

More before and after pictures below, if you really want to see what a bathroom looks like.

Love the new look-and looks like a curved shower rod? Job well done-seriously. Can't see the vanity drawer-key.

Don't forget who helped make this all possible with runs to the local (and by local I mean VA suburbs) Home Depot IN THE SILVER BULLET Accent. Oh yeah and my comic relief. Caucus!

At least Kelly only had to use my shower once. Any more than that, and I would have had to burn the towels.
