See what I did there? With the tricky headline? Pretty neat.

So it's been warming up here, and people are taking off their heavy coats, wool hats, etc., and sporting the spring/summer styles. For the most part this is a good thing. But I'm seeing fauxhawks everywhere, and that shit has to stop. Seriously.

I've got friends (ok, one friend) who sports the fauxhawk sometimes, but he wears soccer jerseys, too, so I think he gets a pass for being semi-European or something. He also has two (2!) poodles. But that's a post for another day.

The Mohawk is not to be trifled with. That's all I'm saying. A watered-down, GAP-friendly version of it is an affront to punk rock. And for the record, Green Day, Linken Park, Blink-182, etc., is not punk rock, so it's not ok if they wear fauxhawks. Oh, and get off my damn lawn.
