So I killed myself off on MySpace the other day, and it felt pretty good. Ending a 4-year digital life for no good reason was really not as empty or hollow as they make it seem on TV, and I didn't even leave a note. I'm sure Tom is crushed.
This doesn't mean I'm any closer to joining Facebook, tho. I don't know if I can handle the level of addiction that seems to create. Most people I know barely have 2 minutes a day to themselves, but somehow manage to update their Facebook status while they're flying or showering or whatever... It's like digital crack. I'm staying away for now.
But if I do join that shit, it's gonna be on full Lurker terms. I'll be on there as Captain Caveman or something, just so I can drop in and see what everyone's doing unnoticed. Oh, and to see what kinda pictures they have posted. That's the only way to properly Lurk; you gotta check the pics.
