President Obama busted on DC today for being snow pansies, and he's right.My brother in Chicago sent me this photo of his back deck and the mega-icicles growing down. Now, contrast that with the blizzard that yielded this mighty snowman in DC. We did get a little snow and some freezing rain here, but it wasn't really that bad.
But everyone freaked out and started closing schools, which means parents have to leave work (b/c for some reason nobody's kids ride the bus here) early, and before you know it the whole city is shut down.
Pansies indeed.

Yah...P is right. Stalac"T"ites grow from the "T"OP and stalac"M"ites grow up like a "M"ound on the ground...some Science teacher taught me that 20 years ago. Probably Mr.Montgomery and his too-short coaching shorts...
