Northern Invasion

Last weekend me and some of the Shaw Brosociates headed up to New Jersey to (finally) check out the Pearson's new haunts. DC hasn't been the same without Harry and Tami, and I'm sure this will be the first of many trips up to NJ to reconnect with good friends. As always, they were amazing hosts, taking us to sub shops and pizza spots to sample some local cuisine. Watching Jbanks and Flynn lock up while trying to order subs was scary, especially considering that one of those two are soon headed for Africa...

The weekend theory was that Flynn regressed in basic development the further north he got from his ladyfriend. By the time he was busting out lyrics to future Summer Jams this theory was proved, and now we also had an answer to what he does with his spare time.

We skated the Edison skatepark and everyone contributed a solid slam and a trick or two to the Jersey scene, including Chris nearly decapitating Geoff and Harry with a missile board out of the mini. It may have been the power of the wizard staff (see below) that kept us all safe.

Geoff masterfully manned the Charger up and back while we slept and ate candy like 15-year-olds. Good times for sure.

After a little duct tape and a few starters, the wizard staffs were unleashed.
